He is a Footvolley lover and player from Austria started playing regularly late in 2018 and over the past time, his dedication got stronger more and more. His goal for Footvolley is not only to become a better athlete but also to share his love for Footvolley and his knowledge he gained from trainings with some of Europe’s and Brazil’s best players and coaches. In his opinion, also other people should get the chance to fall in love with this sport and meet nice people from all over the world, just like he did and is still doing. Gemma!

As a sports enthusiast with a background in Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Sports, one could say he is one kind of man! Sacrificing loads of money, energy, and time for the sake of growing Footvolley in Africa is his main purpose. He is willing to embrace hard times for a bright future for his beloved mother country and the beautiful continent of Africa. Due to his kindness and willpower, he has managed to create a network of good companies with some European Footvolley thinkers, find his way in local politics, and establish Footvolley in Ghana, which has gained recognition as an official sport in Ghana by the National Sports Authority since April this year.

To mention only that he is the head and founder of Helsinki Footvolley would not be enough to describe this man with a big heart for sports and people. Also Heraldo is a Footvolley player by himself and co-founder of AFFA. After moving from Brazil to Finland he tries to establish Footvolley in one of the most northern European countries. He wants to spread Footvolley and his alegria all over the world. Vamo que vamo!
Verena Gasteiner

Verena is also a Footvolley lover and player from Austria. Her first touches with the Footvolley ball were in 2020 and since that time she has fallen in love with this sport and trains a lot.
She also includes Footvolley in the sports lessons she does with her school class. Verena thinks that everyone should have the chance to try Footvolley and be part of the worldwide Footvolley family!
